POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the installation of solid surface installation, field seaming, and repair. Aids in deliveries and provides superior quality of work and positive customer service.

WORK HOURS:
Average of 50 hours per week. Nights, weekends, and out of town/out of State trips are required. Ability to work overtime. Start time 6:00 am; finish time 4:00 pm (subject to change based on job need).

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Degree or GED
    Must maintain a clean driving record
    Ability to pass OSHA 10 course
    Ability to use an iPad and navigate required Apps and Software
    At least one-year experience as a solid surface installer
    Proven ability to install solid surface
    Ability to identify and use basic hand tools
    Ability to read a tape measure
    Math skills such as adding and subtracting
    Ability to prepare an area for installation
    High attention to detail
    Clean and neat appearance
    Ability to read and utilize checklists
    Ability to read and understand blueprints, floor plans, and shop drawings.
    Has a positive attitude toward personnel, department, and company goals
    Demonstrates respect for fellow team members and customers
    Takes responsibility for getting the work done

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works positively and efficiently with other team members.

  • Installs Solid Surface elements and custom products in a timely manner with a focus on quality according to AG standards.

  • Responsible for training, reporting and evaluation of new team members.

  • Verify layout and fit of Solid Surface including countertops, backsplash, windowsills and other elements.

  • Able to perform sizing(cutting), field seaming and repairs.

  • Able to problem-solve difficult installation challenges when they arise.

  • Provide daily reports describing detail of the day’s work.

  • Provide communication to Field Superintendent and Project Manager.

  • Manage time to ensure job is completed in a cost-effective manner.

  • Always perform job safely including required PPE for work area.

  • Uses tools in a careful and safe manner.

  • Installer is responsible for all tools and supplies issued to him, including tools that are issued to the van they are driving or signed out from inventory.

  • Other duties as assigned
