Position Summary:

Responsible for supervising and managing entire scope of the project in regard to installation. Provides exceptional quality work and positive customer service. Responsible for all aspects of site installation. Has the ability to do difficult cabinet and solid surface installation and trim work.

              Work Hours:

Average of 50 hours per week. Nights and weekends are required based on the needs of the job. Ability to work overtime. Start time 6:00 AM, finish time 4:0 PM (subject to change based on job need).

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience within the construction industry, preferably in casework/millwork
  • Detailed understanding of architectural drawings and specifications as well as general terms and conditions of contracts
  • Familiarity with the Architectural Woodwork Industry and its affiliates preferred
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • First Aid/CPR Certification preferred, but not required
  • College or Technical Education preferred, but not required
  • Proven leadership success
  • Experience in managing multiple projects
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to delegate work as required
  • Strong decision/problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities
  • Ability to always maintain professional discretion and confidentiality
  • Can effectively defuse situations, and find solutions to site situations

Essential functions:

  • Attend all necessary meetings with general contractors
  • Accurately manage all information flow and project schedules by working closely with internal department managers, customers, and external vendors
  • Provide project managers status updates on the job
  • Develop, communicate, and measure productivity and budgets to measure the profitability throughout each project
  • Field measure/review status of project site early and often
  • Coordinate unloading/receiving of deliveries
  • Maintain/manage jobsite inventory/organization
  • Manage subcontractors/laborers as needed on a project to stay on schedule and within budget
  • Rent needed equipment on a project to stay on schedule and within budget
  • Review/manage daily reports from Crew Leaders
  • Communicate hotel and per diem needs for a project
  • Other duties, as assigned
